Imagination for People project partners

Imagination for People is funded by grants from the Internation Organisation de la Francophonie, by donations from the Leopold Mayer Foundation (Fondation pour le Progrès de l’Homme) and from the COREDEM information platform (through RITIMO) as well as by the financial patronage of Algoé, a consultancy in France. We wish to thank our four partners for their trust and support. They were instrumental in helping us start Imagination for People. A French Endowment Fund (Fonds de dotation) has also been set up in France in order to mobilize additional private donations.

Content partners like DKC, the Digital Knowledge Centre in India, help us identify and promote social innovation projects.

OIF

Backed by a population of over 890 million people and 220 million French speakers throughout the world, the goal of the International Organisation de la Francophonie (OIF) is to create a structure for active solidarity between the 75 states and governments that make up the organization—more than a third of the Member states of the United Nations.

The Digital Knowledge Centre (DKC) is an initiative of Digital Empowerment Foundation (DEF), India and the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) to function as an “online repository” of the best digital content for fostering development in India and South Asia. The portal provides a web-based platform to provide global visibility of the best e-practices so that they may be replicated in other regions in need. The projects are catalogued and diffused through audio-visual content.

Algoé

Algoé, a management consultancy, helps businesses, associations, and regions address their central issues of governance, performance, adaptation, and transformation. Algoé’s project is made possible by their experienced consultants who share a common culture of listening, cooperation, and result-based action. They work enthusiastically to give the project meaning and shape, to support and assist its actors, to secure its deployment and to insure its success.

Algoé is a sponsor for the Imagination For People project.

Ritimo - Coredem       Fondation pour le Progrès de l'Homme

Ritimo, founded in 1984, hosts Coredem, a network of 26 resource sites (and other organizations that participate in Coredem Wenesdays, an event with the end goal of publishing of a copy of the revue Passerelle, of which 2 or 3 are produced annually)

The purpose of Coredum resources is to analyze projects and document themes to help the progress of those developing projects in the same field.
