About the project Edit

The Good Conspiracy has the ambition to communicate with cities and the entire world. It is a major movement full of positive energy. To achieve this, it infiltrates and diverts/deflects contemporary communication networks in the name of the collective good, giving everyone the means to share good thoughts in public. Being part of it is not very complicated: thinking of the good is enough!

At the first conspiracy, during La Biennale de Montréal 2009, citizens were invited to discover the elements of the conspiracy and become conspirators themselves by sharing messages of hope via SMS, Twitter, email, voice mail and notes deposited in a network of shops on the Saint-Laurent Boulevard between Sherbrooke St. and Mont-Royal St. In designated areas on the sidewalk, walkers could hear positive messages left by strangers.
