About the project Edit

To address the annual increase in student enrolment, the administration of the Collège d’Enseignement Technique et Professionnel Yan VERVOOT de Boulsa (CETPYV), has undertaken the construction of two (2) classrooms thanks to the financial support of its partners, the student parent association, and the AKUNA MATATA Association. Apprentices will serve as a qualified work force.


In what ways is this project unique and creative? Edit

This construction site is innovative in that it requires the work of masonry, metalworking, woodworking, and electrician apprentices. The hiring of apprentices to do the construction work meets the two (2) following objectives: -Provide work experience to apprentices about to finish their training courses; -Alternative financing of construction.

What is the social value of this project? Edit

This project creates a meaningful link between the school’s administration and its partners as well as, between the apprentices and the different trades offered at the CETP Yan VERVOOT de Boulsa.

The endless increase in enrolment.
