About the project Edit

To create an adult relay network of individuals, schools or businesses to give support and advice to teenagers in their educational and professional processes. Gone is the direct parent-teenager relationship! Supported by third parties, teenagers more readily accept an adult’s support and experience. True ambassadors for their occupations, adults open the path to independence for teenagers, young adults in the making.

In what ways is this project unique and creative? Edit

This project helps create a connection between adults and teenagers. It valorizes both by giving the possibility to share knowledge. Adults will help teenagers discover knowledge relating to the professional world and teenagers will help adults discover their dreams and their creativity. We create mini-networks of adults who want to open and transmit a positive image of the business world.

What is the social value of this project? Edit

It is commitment on a societal, solidarity, federator and intergenerational level.

What is the potential of this project to expand and develop? Edit

The concept to create close networks in the cities in France and later on in Europe to help young people travel and discover other professional universes.

What was the triggering factor of this project? Edit

A professional life based on meeting people.

What is the business model of this project? Edit

For now, Quokka is a general interest association. It is only a year old and has no subsidies. Setting up a parent relay network in schools or an adult relay network in a business is free in exchange for parents or adults paying for workshops in the teenager’s school or orientation, on teenagers’ orientation and mostly on what touches on work motivation.
