Themes

In what ways is this project unique and creative? Edit

Two-fold:

1/ Unlike the current trends that are for a more and more transfer of quite everything online, the particularity of this challenge is to bring as much as we can off-line, to make sure they reach those who should benefit of it.

2/ It's more about 47 percent of nearly 850 millions inhabitants we're talking about. The good thing is that for the first time in the continent history, technology and all of us can make it happen, at far a fraction of any cost, and more importantly, without being locked by a top-down approach.

What is the social value of this project? Edit

A breeding ground for the next decades to bridge the gap.

What is the potential of this project to expand and develop? Edit

To be built on a par, by all the rest of us, develop outward, and geographically easy to deploy and connect even if one can think that infrastructure could be an obstacle (partly true, but not impossible thanks to the current state and evolution of wireles mesh and mobile ad hoc networking.

The real challenge will be to set numerous educational and digital repositories on local areas in a first place. Later, they may be merged depending of the subject fields, topics, languages, areas, communities compositions, etc...

Interoperability will be the key driver, devices manufacturers critical, and creativity a must.

What was the triggering factor of this project? Edit

What is the business model of this project? Edit
