About the project Edit

Since 2009, the Brittany region has been conducting an experiment in Breton high schools in partnership with the city of Brest and the education authority. 16 Breton high schools are implementing webTV, radio or media centre projects. They have at their disposal: a software tool for effective broadcasting (the Mediablog), an equipment package (camera, digital recorder, laptop) and the support of a animator from the city of Brest. The purpose of this experiment is to facilitate the development of multimedia projects in vocational, agricultural and general high schools; as well as public or private maritime training centres. As a result of the June 2011 experiment, an evaluation of the project is expected to happen, after which the Rector of the Academy of Rennes will decide whether multimedia publishing tools should be integrated in Digital Work Spaces.
