About the project Edit

eWorky is a web portal that allows users to search, save, review, reserve, and pay for their workspaces online. We also offer an office management tool for workspace owners/managers. It includes functions for planning, CRM, reservations, billing, etc.

In what ways is this project unique and creative? Edit

eWorky attempts to respond to one of the most profound changes in society: units of space and time in business are beginning to disappear in favour of mobility, nomadic working, multiple employment, and self-employment. eWorky is a collaborative site where anyone can add, review, modify, and save workspaces. eWorky promotes the online visibility of different workspaces. That is, anyone seeking a workspace can discover to places where they would never have thought to go otherwise.

What is the social value of this project? Edit

eWorky provides a tool to help teleworkers and nomadic workers rationalize their commutes. Additionally, eWorky helps maximize the use of real property resources, thus avoiding waste. In fact, many offices or workstations are vacant, while many entrepreneurs and independent workers are looking for reasonably priced workspaces. Our goal is to connect these two worlds, which could in turn, fill more humanistic needs by working together. Finally, we offer an office management tool for workspace owners/managers. It includes functions for planning, CRM, reservations, billing, etc.

We also hope to inspire:
-SMEs to share their offices;
-Businesses, large and small, to consider using third-place workspaces for their employees.

What is the potential of this project to expand and develop? Edit

International

What was the triggering factor of this project? Edit

eWorky responds to a need that we identified as entrepreneurs: the difficulty of easily finding and reserving a satisfactory workspace.

What is the business model of this project? Edit

For the time being, everything is free. In the long-term, we plan to launch a premium version of back-office for large coworking spaces and telecentres. However, the service will be free to all small spaces.
