About the project Edit
Cosmetic Executive Women is an association created in 1986, which gathered 270 women in France who work in the beauty business. It offers free hospitalized care for women, on the belief that: "Beauty is not frivolous but it can help you live a better life." Together, fifteen years ago, these women designed, equipped and financed the first centre of beauty at the Institute Gustave Roussy. The institute is the largest cancer fighting centre in Europe.
The products used are donated by cosmetic manufacturers and are offered anonymously. Woman are selected based on patient needs. The management, organization and control of the CEW Beauty Centres are handled on a volunteer basis by l'Association des Centres de Beauté CEW in France

Utilizing the experience of the CEW Beauty Centres for applying make-up to relieve the psychological suffering of hospitalized women - is very creative.
What is the social value of this project? Edit
The mission of the Beauty Centres is to have the patient reconcile with her own body. In addition, the organization allows many women to volunteer their skills to help others, in a practice that's regarded as almost universal among women (no discrimination intended).
What is the potential of this project to expand and develop? Edit
Today, the CEW Beauty Centres are present in 17 Paris hospitals in the region, and there are 6 hospitals in the provinces of (Marseille, Perpignan, Montpellier, Toulon, Grasse and Annecy).
