About the project Edit

Catalyst is a collective of actors from the metropolis of Lille, the developer of a stimulating social innovation project.

Influenced by the collaborative web practices (free licenses, "hacking" in the positive sense, disintermediation, cooperation, etc.), collective actors want to make these practises serve projects to promote better living together. They use creative, innovative, collective and interdisciplinary methods.
Catalyst is representative of the transition from company consumption to company relationship, from an industrial and financial economy to a
a social and interdependent economy. The project encourages cooperation among digital actors, ESS, eco-citizenship and popular education.
First of all, the Catalyst project aims to listen, ensure that the needs and representative local projects are monitored in a social innovative form
. It makes it possible to reconstruct, exchange and compare what is happening in other territories, France or abroad. Finally, it is meant to be experimental: to create meetings between people from different worlds, encourage citizen creativity and develop cooperation - particularly with digital tools. It will give way to new service prototypes, organization of local actors and economic and social projects.
