Les tiers-lieux open source francophones de différent pays, se sont réunis le 8 avril 2014 dans le cadre de la quinzaine des tiers-lieux à Saint Etienne (France) pour avancer ensemble sur l'organisation et l'évolution du réseau.

 

Le réseau des Tiers Lieux francophones, né en janvier 2012 est devenu "open source" en juillet de la même année. Il dispose déjà d'une plus de mille membres et a pu développer des recettes libres (codes sources) pour aider à la création et au développement des tiers-lieux, basées sur la méthodologie ...

When one thinks of the Netherlands it’s often tulips, windmills, wooden shoes, a certain, shall we say, liberal attitude toward herbal medicine, and canals that come to mind. But there are many more things that characterize this great country. Did you know that they were the first country in the world to legalize same sex marriages? Or that Gin was invented in the Netherlands? I’m sure I speak for many a gin and tonic lover when I say thank you for that!

SIWT #5: 23 changemakers in Brazil to inspire you

Brazil is a country of a stunning contradictions. While more than 70 millions of its inhabitants have access to Internet and possess a smartphone, 16 million of its citizens still live in extreme poverty. Brazil comes in 10th in terms of countries with greatest social inequality.

 

Its citizens understand the country’s situation well and are actively trying to show the rest of the world that Brazilians are motivated, creative and care about the well-being of their country. Brazilian social innovation is booming and its projects are very characteristic of the country’s specific needs and complex culture.
